Resumo: The fullerene C60 and its derivatives have been the focus of many researches in the past few years due its particular physical-chemical properties and its potencial biological application. Among the main applications in the drug-development área its derivatives have presented activities like anti-HIV, neuroprotective, antimicrobian, and activity against neurodegeneratives diseases. In reason of its enormous potencial, newmolecular hybrids have been synthezides joining to the surface of the C60, molecules with equal biological potencial to design new pro-drugs.This work describes the synthesis of new molecular hybrids in which molecules originated from medicinal plants and a drug used in the anti-HIV therapy were linked to the surface of the C60 through the Bingel´s cyclopropanation. This reaction uses substances that possess na active methylene group. In this way a series of malonates were synthesized from lupeol, friedelinol and AZT. Eleven molecules were synthesized, being nine new substances and, from these, four new fullerene hybrids. The substances will be evaluated due its pharmacological potencial and its viability as pro-drugs
