Resumo: This research aims to understand how the logistics activities such as procurement, production t support, and customer service are present in the tihn exhibition companies in Belo Horizonte. It attempts to check how are the logistical activities in the operations of these organizations.l This research utilized a multi-case approach to achieve its objective, where members of management from three local companies were interviewed. In addition, three experts in moviel production supply chain were also interviewed, and their input was analyzed using the contenti analysis method. Finally, the research also gathered data on the showing schedule of the three { movie theaters companies. The data gathered irom the interviews and the showing schedulel was triangulated and analyzed. The research concluded that logistic activities in the three organizations have a good level of interdependence, diverging to adapt to the focus of each organization. In addition to a significant level of unpredictability on the demand, the logistic activities are also subject to external influences, such as industry-specific regulatory requirements and contractual agreements with movie distributors. Furthermore, these logistic activities are also affected by internal restrictions, such as theater availability and the type of service offerings associated with the show times. Despite these internal and external restrictions, the research identified that logistic activities have an important role in thedetinition ofthe length of time of the content in the theaters.
