Resumo: The present work aims to investigate the impacts of the educational motoring project on the daily lives of the participants, students of a public school located in a peripheral neighborhood of the municipality of Vespasiano/MG. In the development of the research, a bibliographic review was carried out focused on studies on leisure, adolescents and young people, in addition to addressing educational sport under law n° 9.615/98. As for the methodology, semi-structured interviews were used as data collection instruments. For the analysis and interpretation of these data, the Content Analysis methodology was used which, instead of focusing on the quantification of data, as occurs in quantitative methods, the content analysis seeks to identify patterns, themes, meanings and underlying relationships in the material studied. which falls into the category of qualitative analysis techniques, employed. In this perspective, the following categories of analysis were identified: a) Evaluation of the Dissemination of Educational Motoring in the researched School; b) Evaluation of the Selection Criteria for Student Participation in this project; c) Analysis of the impacts of this project on the daily lives of students; d) Conception of Leisure as a strategy for Occupation of Free Time. The results obtained revealed that interventions such as educational motoring carry complexities and implications that surpassed initial expectations. The analysis emphasized the need for a critical and contextualized evaluation to understand the impacts of these projects, not only highlighting their positive aspects, but also recognizing the limitations and challenges inherent to this project. The investigation of the results of this initiative contributed to a better understanding of the interaction between the aforementioned project, leisure and the educational process.
