Resumo: The question that motivated this study was to analyze the processes of school management in the speeches of former students, Specialization in Management of the Faculty of Education at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, from the analysis of the Theory of Skills. Speeches were obtained by reading the works of Course Completion (TCCs), referring to the first class of this course in the period 2008-2009. The problem that guides the study is: What identity school manager, the Logic of Competence aims to build? What subjectivities are constructed in the processes of individualization of labor relations and training manager of that school? The overall objective was to analyze 59 TCCs and capture through the messages present in the texts, the discourse of students graduating on the processes of school management considering the variables related to the work of the manager in the context of the management and training of work processes school manager. The specific objectives Identify and analyze the processes of school management of the graduates of the course; Identify and analyze the strategies of individualization / democratization of school management; Identify the levels of intensification and job insecurity school management; unveil the identity of the worker in school management. The methodology is a qualitative research technique was used and the content analysis, the technique of categorization, which enabled analyzing the speeches of the students graduating from the core categories, school management, manager job training and job school manager. The path began as a literature search on Logic Skills, School Management, School Work Manager and Training Manager Labor School. Then broke for the identification, selection and mapping of the TCCS. Based on the benchmark compiled, the study sought to highlight the logic competent evidence in the processes of democratic school management. It is the importance of democratic processes of school management and the impressions of logic competent in work processes and training of school management, promoting a new logic in these processes: the logic of competitiveness, accountability and individualization in work processes and training . The work processes of the manager get new features based on the use of team work and participatory. The formation processes of the gain characteristics of the building between the action-reflection-action, a functionalist logic based on skills. For the processes of a democratic school management to take effect you must build effective participation spaces between the school and the instances that coordinate systemic school and we must have a dialogue and present among such agencies in order to train these workers in construction shared management. The paths indicated also show that school autonomy to be effective it is necessary to rely on the effective participation of the school community and a supporter of public agencies in capacity building, training and demands that arise in day-to-day school management.
