Resumo: | The Socio-Educational Security Agent (ASE) is the primary professional that makes up the socio-educational security team. They are responsible for standard security procedures, and for acting in the socio-educational process of adolescents in compliance with legal measures, using dialogue, guidance and mediation of conflicts as a priority, with physical restraint being the last resort. Considering it an important actor for the socio-educational process of the adolescent, the focus of this research was aimed at the work of these professionals. It was investigated the possibilities of an educational link between ASE's and adolescents in the socio-educational semiconfinement units of Belo Horizonte, MG, in the daily work of the ASE's in the relationships built with the adolescents. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the ASE's by the management of the units. It was concluded that not knowing the impossibility of the task of educating allows the ASE's to do it in their own way, following a familialist archaism, which singular construction makes possible its educational link with the adolescent. It is expected that this research may contribute to the Socio-Educational Policy take another look at the importance of the action of the ASE's and invest in the training of these fundamental actors for the operation of the units where measures of deprivation of liberty are executed. In addition, it is expected to promote the listening space of these professionals in favor of the promotion of quality and valorization of work, intensifying the possibilities of building an educational link between these professionals and adolescents in order to contribute in the socio-educational process during the fulfillment of the Socioeducational Semi-confinement measure in the State of Minas Gerais. |
