A methodological proposal for the study of the typical loads installed in constructions, of the bills of energy and of data collected through energy analyzers is presented. The energy consumption pattern of buildings is modeled through a non linear structure and a proposal for monitoring buildings energy usage, through Statistical Control of Processes, is evaluated. The methodology is applied in a public educational building,and, then a conceptual project for its automation is proposed, seeking to implement rules of rational energy usage to guarantee that the process of rationalization of the energy consumption is integrated, providing the installation with efficient equipment and assuring a rational usage of energy.
