Resumo: | It is believed that understand and use in education information technology and communica- tion means that teachers and students are able to critically understand the messages of so- cial and transform themselves into citizens able to cope with the information and technologi- cal advances to which are exposed from day to day. So that educators can use ICT in their pedagogical work, they need skills and acquire basic skills and in this sense, the training is identified as one of the main places to purchase them. This study examined how the course of the Pedagogia FaE/UFMG has contributed to the discussion of theoretical and practical use of information technology and communication employed in education. Thus, the re- search investigated, through interviews with teachers and students of the institution, ques- tionnaire and documents relating to the curriculum of the course, as is the training of teacher in the current information society. To proceed with the investigation was necessary to realize the presence of technology in the institution, which use has been made by students and teachers, which are the centers and programs that contribute to this training and what are the main barriers to effective reflection and use creative ICT in the training of graduates in teaching. The results indicate that the college offers modern technological infrastructure, but it needs to establish policies aim than the acquisition of resources, preparation and motiva- tion of teachers and students to use and reflect on the potential of such resources. I noticed that the curriculum of the course still needs a space for the discussion on ICTs and educa- tion, since there is only a discipline dealing with the issue. For academics, we noticed that they use some technology in their classes so little constructive and creative, reaffirming tra- ditional methodologies. These findings lead us to conclude that the course should give teachers opportunities for future interaction with ICTs and most effective moments of ques- tioning to ensure a reflection on the practice of integrated operational issues, creative and technological resources argumentative. |
