Resumo: The conservation of the environment is a global priority, and animal health is one of the key points for the conservation of wild species. The study of endoparasites and their implications contributes to understanding the current state of animal, human and environmental health, also assist in the understanding of the role played by wild and domestic animals in the spread of diseases. The purpose of this was to evaluate the similarities of the richness and community composition of endoparasites present in wild carnivores and C. familiaris in on Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural Santuário do Caraça, Minas Gerais. Thus, 75 fecal samples of wild carnivores were collected inside the RPPN Santuário do Caraça, being 40 (53, 33%) positive for some at least one of parasites. The feces of 30 dogs (Canis familiaris) of the surrounding localities were collected from the protected area (Sumidouro, Brumal, Córrego do Onça e Campo Grande) and from Fazenda do Engenho, located within the reserve. In fecal samples of wild carnivores were identified the following taxa: Strongylidae, Ancylostomidae, Toxocara sp., Ancylostoma sp., Capillaria sp., Trichuris sp., Acanthocephala, Platynosomum sp., Hymenolepis sp., Pseudophyllidea, Isospora sp. According to the rarefaction curves, the amount of enteroparasites, in both wild carnivores as domestic dogs are equivalent. Furthermore, the richness estimated by Chao 2, for wild and domestic animals are equal to the observed richness. However, the result of ANOSIM shows differences (p < 0,001) between the composition of endoparasites found in wild carnivores and those found in C. familiaris. Thus, the community of wild carnivores of RPPN Santuário do Caraça presents a different set of endoparasites than was found in C. familiaris, indicating differences in the use of foraging areas and prey consumption.
