Resumo: | This paper to propose adoption of practices of conceptual modeling and informational mapping with the objectives for identification of control points that that can improve a better understanding of the complexity involved in the life cycle of a product. This understanding becomes essential when, focused on low environmental impact to production and use of products, required to manage systems increasingly integrated and multidisciplinary. The information generated and processed through the cycle becomes as the primary common attribute. Understand its contents permits the identification of points where the decision-making processes as transformations of materials, energy balances and emissions control and use, may indicate the adoption of more sustainable production practices. From a literature review about production systems and their complexity, lifecycle management methodologies and conceptual modeling procedures, assumptions were generated and potential control points were identified, allowing the generation of concept maps, flowcharts and diagrams that resulted in control methodology for product development phase. Such methodology has been applied in the development of an industrial product. Were used concepts, maps and points indicated in the methodology and the results were present a model that demonstrates the possibility and importance of use of conceptual mapping to manage the development cycle of a product. This practice allows for a more comprehensive view of the complexity involved in the whole cycle allowed an anticipation of the decisions and choices about processes and practices that promote sustainability in developments more efficiently for designers, architects, engineers and other actors involved in product development and built environments. |
