This research studies the use of intelligence information to support the quest for hegemony of power in international relations. It starts with the premise that the hard power and soft power, now find themselves under the hegemony of one power, the United States. This power and a unique military, political and economic power, also possess an unprecedented informational apparatus, the latter being a prerequisite for maintaining their status quo. To maintain this informational primacy, the U.S. would rely on their intelligence or intelligence that would support both the exercise of coercive power and symbolic power. From this huge informational advantage in all spheres, the U.S. would be formed, possibly as the more sophisticated informational state of the planet from the perspective of power relations towards other global players. This superiority in the field of information is the bedrock foundations of the current American hegemony-unchallenged.
