This work shows places and experience of a certain period revealing achievements, struggles, problems, and that carries reflections and references of the artist who produced it. Embark on a journey through this material is an invitation to enter into a new universe, the private universe of that traveler who will guide those who allow into this new journey. In this way the dissertation "NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST - Notes of a Traveler" has from the beginning the search for a new way in the academic field, a place of reflection and practice, in which it can be read as an art work. The whole focus of the research is on the artistic process, where ideas, successes and failures are used as readings for new analyzes, seeking an understanding of what to do in art. Beginning with the arrival in Belo Horizonte, passing through other cities and countries during the period of the research, assuming the period of development of the dissertation as a new place of action, a new challenge. In this dissertation the analysis about the experience and the experience it self are crucial points. Starting from a look through the notebook, the intimate place in which the researcher is exposed, through his daily life, as well as the importance of his sources of research, seeking in theorists, and other artists a form of dialogue.
