O usuário do sistema de informação hospitalar: necessidades e usos no contexto da informação

Resumo: In the society of information, in which there is a strong explosion in the genesis of information and in the process of communication, the concern is addressed to the individual, multiple, global and integrated systems. There is a search, in the environment of information science to understand needs and satisfactions of the users in contact with information, resulting in several works. At the same time, in the field of health, this sector in Brazil, is suffering deep structural changes, with the introduction of Sistema Único de Saúde. Then, hospitals, which are sources of information, have searched to adapt to this new reality. Therefore, the principal aim was to identify the needs and uses of users of hospital systems of information, in the context of the information, collecting data of general hospitals, localized in the Teresina city, state of Piauí. The hospital sector was investigated about its pattern of system of information, if with traditional focus in the own system, or if with adapted reality, concerning speach, according new paradigm of centralization in the user by questionnaries to doctors and nurses, main users of these systems; and managers of information. This study found that these systems of information are searching to observe the necessities and uses of users, although they are not directed to their users yet. Thus, doctors (74,90%) and nurses (67,01%) affirmed that never were contacted about suggestions or changes in the hospital system of information. Moreover, the users apointed that never received trainning in the first contact with the systems, as well as the managers of information affirmed that never gave basic trainning like the digitation in the computers.
