Resumo: | The increasing health science development made the clinical assays become more commonresearches, followed by discussions regarding ethical aspects, especially when it involvesvulnerable populations. The community preparation in these situations is configured as a setof important pedagogical actions which aims, by means of different strategies, the criticalsense development and stimulation, the awareness regarding the research procedures, therisks it is associated with, in way to allow the individuals a conscientious and responsibledecision related to the participation in clinical researches. The few studies concerning thecommunity preparation work on an incipient way the questions related to the subjectivity ofthe participants and its influence on the clinical assays. Little is known on how thesecommunity preparation activities configure in these people memories who had lived deeplythe process, and how these events become meaningful, and, if reassigning in practice andbehaviors which mark the involved citizens constitution. This is about a qualitative study,based on the theoretical memory reference and methodological oral history. Its objective is tobuild up the Vaccine Project memory against the Ancilostomedeo, clinical assays carried outin Americaninhas, Novo Oriente District, Minas Gerais northeast agricultural zone. To buildup the Project narratives, it was used as data collection interviews among four citizens, eachone a participant of an educative activity: research committee, documentary films, socialmultiplier course and theater. The data handling held the moment of the transcription andtextualization, using oral history that had been later confronted with other scientific sources.The work was organized in three parts: (1) Vaccine Project against the Ancilostomedeo, (2)the individual narratives; (3) the protagonists activity and the social actor construction. Theresults had demonstrated the reactions and feelings towards the project arrival in the region,the construction of a reliable relation and credibility to the researchers work, the conqueredlearnings (constructed knowledge, new profile adoption and behavior) by means of aneducation which marks were the protagonism stimulation and, from the history of eachparticipant, the process of the social actor construction. |
