Resumo: | The concept of Patrimonial State, inittialy brought up to light by Max Webber, took prominence in the discussions about the political and cultural profile ofthe brazilian State, inittialy in the 19th century by the hands of thinkers such as Raymundo Faoro, Sérgio Buarque de Holanda and Oliveira Vianna, mainly responsible for pushing the studies focused on Brazilian patrimonialism, marked, in large lines, by the interweaving of the bureaucratic elites with the State itself, in a decisive way in its process of accumulation of patrimony and political capital. It is intended to apprehend the studies of this line of thought, due to its complexity in Brazilian historical analysis and to compare it to Corporatism, considered as a set of institutional policies and devices responsible for structuring and representing certain interests. For this, the study proposes to deal with phenomena linked to the various aspects of corporatism in Brazil, in order to show themselves as manifestations of a patrimonialism historically and culturally constructed and adapted to the current sociopolitical context. Thus, it is intended to work the influences and conceptions of patrimonialism in the work of bodies in and around the State, such as technocracy, public servants and trade union corporations. This is done through a first theoretical incursion on the main authors of Patrimonialism, in order to follow their considerations, covering the main factors of each period of the history of the country and their respective consequences for the currentstate of the art of the subject., as an the attempt to draw an understanding that, by the historical inheritances of a Patrimonial State, several of the Brazilian corporations of the contemporary world would mirror, in the State, mostly, part of their political and economic interests. |
