Resumo: The objective of this study was to evaluate the bromatological composition of genotypes of silage sorghum. The experiment was conducted at the Tancredo Neves Campus of São João del-ReiFederal University during the period from December 2015 to July 2017. The experimental design was a randomized block design in a 2 × 11 factorial scheme, consisting of two years of evaluation and 11 genotypes, which 9 were experimental and two commercial controls. The sorghum plants were harvested after 95 days, close to the point of grains pasty for farinaceous (between 30 and 40% of dry matter in the plant). The levels of crude protein (CP), cellular content (CELLC), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), cellulose (CELLU), hemicellulose (HEMI) and lignin (LIG) were evaluated. Significant effect of genotype was observed for all the variables of the study (P <0.05), already the year effect was observed on HEMI content, and no genotype x year significant interaction was found for any variables. CP contents varied between 6.55 and 9.35%, and CELLC contents varied between 32.55 and 44.13%. The contents of DNF varied between 55.87 and 67.45%, and ADF 29.21% and 41.55%. Among the evaluated genotypes, the 13F26005 and 13F23019 have a better bromatological profile, presenting lower levels of DNFand ADF, and higher levels of CP and CELLC.
