Resumo: | This dissertation analyzes the contributions of using experimental demonstration activities for learning concepts of physics. The activities were developed within a school on electrical power sequence, and applied for a physics professor in a class of 3rd year of high school in a public school. The lessons of didactic sequence were videotaped and transcribed afterwards. Data analysis is anchored in the three theoretical constructs proposed by Wertsch: situation definition, intersubjectivity and semiotic mediation. Such concepts allow a better understanding of Proximal Development Zone proposed by Vygotsky, providing a framework for teaching practice. We believe that the use of experimental activities in a didactic sequence contributes both to the involvement of students in the classroom and to better students' gaze direction for the relationship between observable data and scientific model. |
