Resumo: | This research was made intending to identify, through this post occupation evaluation units held in municipal education program for children (Unidades Municipais de Educação Infantil UMEI's), schools for children to zero up to five years and eight months, that have been constructed in Belo Horizonte since 2002, conflicts and problems that reach their users and their needs, from its construction from the use of one architectonic project pattern. Initially shall be exposed a brief history of the process of construction of public education buildings in Belo Horizonte, since the city foundation, and indicated some trends detected along this path. Then we will expose the reasons that led to the construction of UMEI's as well the whole process of generating design of the architectural design of schools for children and their types. Among the many types designed since the construction of the first unit, in 2003, we decided to investigate only the typology 1, wich contains all the assumptions presents on the other. Considering the still great demand for vacancies in child education and the estimates for the construction of many others UMEI's, its essential to identify the reasons causing these problems and conflicts, avoiding their reproduction indefinitely. Lastly we shall present the general conclusions after post occupation evaluation carried out and the recommendations in order to adjust the future of the actions of project and the satisfaction of the demands and needs of users of public schools for children in Belo Horizonte. |
