Resumo: The present work consists in an investigation about the importance of the stamps printed in Germany between 1933 and 1944 as well as on the policy of dissemination of the ideas during the National Socialists era. For this effort, a search has been made in a private collection with 490 (four hundred and ninety) stamps which were printed in Germany during the above mentioned period. Besides, an accurate stamps iconographic analysis has been either made in order to find out their relationship with the Nazi policy in Germany. In other moments a several historical contexts were also discussed in order to historically situate the foundations of National Socialist policy and to provide an elucidation about the sense of representations found in those specific kind of stamps that refer to periods prior to Hitler's Government. In a general manner, it aims to go after the main causes, motives and circumstances that justify the political support of German population to Hitler's policy as well as its legitimacy hence providing all the necessary human resources for such Hitler's behavior and his conduct to manipulating people through Government's policies, thanks to a theoretical resource which were quite adequate to the type of historical reflection according to the concept of political culture. Thus, guided by some theoretical-methodological assumptions in the area of History and Sociology, among others, it was possible to check out on the Nazi postage stamps according to its corresponding period during World War II, which has widely contributed to the spread of the National Socialist ideology. Yet, it has been searched the historical and conceptual values regarding the symbolic aspects of such a study.Finally, the reviewed literature one was allowed to understanding the socio-cultural characteristics of Germany in the period post-World War I, which has become the basis for the stamps production, distribution and circulation, as well as the determination of their distinctive subsidies.
