The present work aims at examining the field of musical performance considering the performance routine of Trombominas, a group of trombone players. A dialogue is proposed between three points of reference, namely: musical performance, phenomenology and the group itself. Regarding musical performance, the focus will be mainly on memory as a cognitive function. This psychic function will also be tackled, through interviews, under the phenomenological point of view, from the subjective impressions of the participants of the group Trombominas. The aim is to investigate how memory can act as a key for these subjects in their performances.
