Resumo: | In the current context of dilution of the boundaries between the media and other fields of social life, disadvantaged social groups have appropriated the technological possibilities to produce critical and reflexive practices, seeking to achieve expressivity and public legitimacy. Considering the strategic action of environmental movements in the media and media, this research seeks to reflect on processes of social mobilization on-line, studying the relationship between Facebook, gender and agroecology in the contemporary scenario reconfigured by the internet. The empirical reality studied is that of women farmers belonging to the National Articulation of Agroecology (ANA) and connected to Facebook in order to understand how these women construct themselves and, at the same time, publicly construct the feminist and agroecological cause in your personal profiles. The study is qualitative and exploratory with empirical analysis consisting of information available in profiles of five women on Facebook, as well as oral reports of eight subjects. As a theoretical basis, this work draws on the literature on social mobilization, as well as contributions from ecofeminism and cyberfeminism. |
