This doctoral thesis is a timeline of stories and memories of cinema and audiovisual productions carried out in the state of Pará between the 1910s and 2020, as well as a proposal for the preservation and safeguarding of this audiovisual heritage through mapping, documentation, curation, and cataloging. It represents an intimate and cartographic journey that constructs a historical, social, and political panorama of audiovisual productions, delving into film criticism and analysis in an attempt to create a reference for Paraense film research. It brings to light submerged memories of the past, focusing on over a century of this invisible filmography.
