Resumo:	This work aims to investigate the theme of the determinism in Sigmund Freud's work, more precisely to define the subject of the psychic's determinism in the text denominated Interpretation of Dreams (1900). It was objectified in that study to investigate the context that materializes the origin of the formation of the notion of psychic's determinism, its transformations and theoretical repercussions in the construction of atheoretical model capable to understand the dream's phenomenon as phenomenon of the unconscious, being distinguished of the absolute's determinism.
