This work aims to study the city precarious, slums and allotments, from the interfaces between the natural site and buildings, what is commonly called "urban infrastructure" and that will be designated by the terminology "mesostructure ". It starts with the idea of system comprising the city, mesostructure and nature, for the discussion of urban interventions in the city. From the study of the different mesostructure and negative impacts produced by formal and informal procedures, is discussed the mesostructure in the city precarious from a case study in the Aglomerado da Serra, in Belo Horizonte, emphasizing the changes in macrourbana and microlocal scale of the place. Aiming to expand this discussion, we analyze different repertoires for mesostructure: pre-fabricated components to urbanization, mesostructure in old towns and settlements. From the study of the city precarious and mesostructure some parameters are constituted as central points and will be discussed throughout the work, such as environmental impact, flexibility, scales of operation and openness to participation.
