Resumo: | This paper aims at investigating the Written Social Representation built byteaching undergraduates at Countryside Education Linguagens e Códigos Course from Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri. Based onSocial Psychology, the current paper makes use of knowledge from the Theory of Social Representations (based on Moscovici, Jodelet and Antunes-Rocha), the Socio Interactionist Language Theory based on discourse (Bakhtin and Bronckart), and the Countryside Education (Rural Education). It is supposed that when individuals have to deal with situations in which they are forced to infer from, such individuals may maintain, alter, or refuse established social representations. Thus, this thesis aims at identifying, understanding and analysing such movements within the written social representation of undergrads. The methodological approach was qualitative, using documentary analysis based on the assumptions of Discourse Analysis, the following instruments were used: questioners and interviews. The documents analyses took into consideration the historical background, as well as the context in which countryside students are immerged, aiming at understanding such population throughout a social,political and educational perspective. The questioner made it possible to have a general view from the Curso Licenciatura em Educação do Campo Linguagens e Códigos students, general characteristics were identify. The interviews brought to light the fifteen interviewees background and their context in which they are emerged. The analyzes developed have in the Theory of Social Representations, in Discourse and Language Theories and in the theoretical assumptions of Countryside Education, the basis for conducting the researcher's work. Finally, it is justified to carry out theresearch, considering that writing has been lived and felt as a moment of significant conflicts and tensions for the students who enter the university |
