Resumo: | The increasing demand of the automotive industry for materials functional and better aesthetics of their products requires steels that meet high standards of quality, mechanical properties, and cold drawing. The evolution of the market shows an increasing tendency to materials with good formability for the production of panels with complex shapes. In this class of steels is aimed at low values of yield strength and high coefficient of anisotropy. The present work aims to study the influence of process parameters on the box annealing on the mechanical properties of steel extra deep drawing with maximum yield strength of 230 MPa from the insertion intermediate soak in heating ramp. Regarding this, was simulated in pilot scale heating of some samples cold rolled at different temperatures of intermediate soak. After heat treatment the samples were extracted from specimens that were tested to verify the results of mechanical properties by tensile test, microstructure and grain size by metallography using the linear intercept method and texture by X-ray diffractometer. The results showed a slight influence of soak intermediate on the values of mechanical properties of steel studied. Also showed similar characteristics of the pancake elongated type grains in the rolling direction between different process conditions. Regarding the texture, it verified the presence of the fiber {111}<uvw> to favorable formability. Have the grain size showed a slight tendency to increase with the insertion of the intermediate soak temperature of 500°C. Therefore, the study demonstrated that the intermediate soak held near to this temperature can maximize the precipitation of AlN before recrystallization, favoring the formability properties of steel. |
