Resumo: The lime glass waste present high rate of recyclability. They can be used in the production of new glasses when they come in the form of bits. By presenting pozzolanic activity, those are micro particles generated in the lime glass cutting and drilling which can be incorporated to the cement arrays in partial replacement to the cement Portland. Several studies in the literature evaluate the mechanical performance and the durability of those compounds. However, practically there arent any information on the thermal properties of those materials. In this study the thermal performance of cement compound produced with the addition of 10% and 20% of microparticles of glass residue in partial substitution to the cement Portland is evaluated in. In the confection of the samples were used were used glasses produced in laboratories and coming glasses from the effluent treatment station. The thermal conductivity was evaluated based on the hot plate protected method and the thermal diffusivity through the thermal infrared thermography. The results indicate that the samples made with partial replacement of glass waste present a better thermal performance in relation to the samples without replacement, because when it´s added to the compound cement these residues increase the time of the diffusion of the heat in the materials.
