Resumo:	The influence of the use of alternative fuels (whith respect to fuel oil) in boilers is studied concerning its thermodynamic and heat transfer aspects, by using the CKTI (Russian). aLL-Union Boiler and Turbine Institute) Method. The followingvariables for the combustion air are analyzed: temperature, excess air and oxygen content. The CKTI Method is checked by using operational data and compared with the Adimensional Method and the Isothermal Method.
