Resumo: | This work consists on developing a computer application in Delphi programming language for structural analysis of tall buildings in steel structures using the displacement method. The program allows several structural arrangements and has an easy user-interface and fast input data as well as the interpretation of the results. The P-. and M-¥è are considered for second order effect in the analysis.The lateral stability of buildings can be assured by rectangular frames, in which is possible to consider the influence of the semi-rigid connections and the deformation by shear force of beams and columns, bracing systems and shear walls with concrete plane cross section in shape of C, U, H and double T section, treated by the bending and torsion theory. It can be also considered in the lateral stability the contribution ofmasonry panels of the most several materials. The slabs are considered like rigid diaphragm in their planes and they are responsible for the transmission of lateral force to the stability elements.At the end, some examples of analysis of buildings, whose results were obtained with the developing program, as possible, are being compared with the results of another program, broadly used. With relation to these examples, the behavior of buildings is evaluated taking into account all the analysis considerations which are allowed by the program. |
