Resumo: | Diarrhea in calves and mastitis in cattle represent negative impact on livestock. In this research promoted to check the Cerrado plant extrados in inhibitory effect on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus spp. from cattle. The ethanol extracts of Annona crassiflora Mart and ethanol and aqueous extracts of Schinopsis brasiliensis Engl been selected. and Caryocar brasiliense Cambess. The chromatographic perfils obtained by HPLC and levels of condensed tannins were analyzed for these extrados. After removal of tannins or not the patterning and 84 mg/ml, were evaluated in agar diffusion test to compare the antagonism of two isolates Eschechiria spp. from calves with diarrhea and ATCC 25922(Eschechiria coli) and three isolates of Staphylococcus spp. from cows with mastitis and ATCC 25923 (Staphylococcus aureus). The halos of inhibition were compared in a randomized design and was determined minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (CBM). Escherichia spp. all extracts were selected for efficient and Staphylococcus spp. the ethanol extracts of A. crassiflora and aqueous S. brasiliensis were more effective. The MIC aqueous extract of S. brasiliensis was only 37.5 µg/ml for the isolated Escherichia E2 and other extracts was 150 µg/ml. The CBM of the ethanol extract of A. crassiflora was 150 µg/ml for all strains. After removal of tannins is not verified inhibitory effect, indicating seguncadário this metabolite as an agent of the antibacterial effect avalidados extracts. In this research, theisolated S. aureus were resistant to antibacterial vancomycin, oxacillin, penicillin and clindamycin and E. coli were resistant to tetracycline and these selected extracts after toxicity studies and in vivo tests, could contribute to alternative control these bacteria . |
