This study proposes to examine the experience of itinerant cinema developed by the Cuban government after the Revolution. The Cine-Móvil was one of the means for film diffusion and political propaganda of Cuban Institute for Art and Film Production (Instituto Cubano del Arte e Industria Cinematográficos - ICAIC). The proposed analysis involves an understanding of this medium, based on official cultural policy of the Cuban government and its relationship with the communist political culture. The Cine-Móvil will be analyzed taking into account part of it`s programming, institutional and administrative bias, and it`s practical and daily experience within Cuba.
