Resumo: This Masters dissertation is based on the construction of a theoretical lens that is used as a conceptual repertoire for the analysis of the Oasis Game, a method of citizen mobilization designed by Instituto Elos, a social organization in Santos (SP). From the application of the game in two neighborhoods of Belo Horizonte (Vila Nova Cachoeirinha and Ribeiro de Abreu) in the first semester of 2017, I use the concepts of self-management, autonomy, self-construction, self-production and self-organization, especially regarding the production of space, to criticize the method and to develop pointers for new experiences of mobilization that could impel the production of socio-spatial relations distinct from those of domination, typical of the capitalist mode of production. These pointers head the research process to the search for a socio-spatial pedagogy guided by seven principles, inspired by the philosophy of Paulo Freire and practices of the Theater of the Oppressed, by Augusto Boal. The principles guided a third experiment, from March to September of 2018 in Conjunto Ribeiro de Abreu, which brings together residents of the region in a process of mobilization focused on its continuity, considering the possibility of socio-spatial emancipation. I hope to contribute with the development of activities and tools that help in the initial mobilization of socio-spatial groups to engage in self-organizing processes.
