Resumo: | This research aims to classify documents from government agencies related to school education developed in the context of the Records Management Program of the executive branch of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The objective of this dissertation is to define a classification plan based on the unification of functions and documentary typology for the area of school education. In this sense, the research is supported by archival identification studies that address the parameters of Diplomatic and Documentary Typology with a theoretical and methodological basis for identification and its relationship with archival classification. With the expansion of Diplomatic, new theoretical-methodological approaches emerge for the identification of archival documents that begin to be recognized in the context of their administrative activities and applied as a basis for the development of records management instruments and treatment of accumulated document masses. A qualitative approach is adopted, through documentary and bibliographical study through which we seek to identify the functions, activities and consequently similar document types that allow defining a classification plan for the area of school education. Comparative technical studies are carried out based on official instruments that regulate the purpose, organic structure, competencies and attributions of the State Department of Education (Seeduc), Technical School Support Foundation (Faetec), State University of Rio de Janeiro (Uerj) and State Center of Statistics, Research, and Staff Training in Rio de Janeiro (Ceperj). It seeks to understand the historical path of Brazilian educational legislation and the legal basis that currently guides Brazilian education and, specifically, the Education System of the State of Rio de Janeiro, in order to understand its organization and functioning. Finally, it is intended that the results of the function unification procedure, represented in the classification plan, serve as a reference for educational institutions in other states, municipalities or even at the federal level. |
