This work presents the paths covered in the elaboration of an educational product with the objective of contributing to the insertion of the guiding principles of Green Chemistry (GC) in the training of technicians in middle level chemistry. Throughout the didactic sequence students learn to use the holistic Green Star (GS) metric to construct a graph that enables the analysis of experiments in view of the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. The didactic sequence was developed in the classroom and the written production of the students was analyzed from the Discursive Textual Analysis. It was possible to infer that there was progression in the understanding of the concepts of Green Chemistry.
