Resumo: | This research focuses on the field of the vocal action, based on concepts found in the works of the theater directors Constantin Stanislavski, Jerzy Grotowski and Peter Brook. Their principles and process converge to an intersection: what Grotowski named organic pole of the acting techniques. This research not only works on theprocess strictly linked to the voice and the word, but also analyzes the relation between the acting totality and the work about the vocal action among each of those directors. From an organic perspective, we intend to analyze the principles and process of the vocal action in the work of the actor. We also intend to compare the approach of those directors. Besides identifying and analyzing the amalgam of vocal action with the concepts linked to organicity in the work of those directors, thefollowing central points are studied: i) the pragmatic and conceptual differences that could be raised in the vocal action approach (and their determinants) related to the principles that guide those directors work; ii) how a specific principle of work, which is pointed by a specific director, performs or could perform in the work of the other directors. In order to develop this discussion, a comparative work is done, emphasizing similarities and contrasts regarding the relation with public, theapproach with the musicality of the voice, the notion of contact and character, by clarifying those directors focus of interest and the basic principles for the vocal action. |
