Proposta de reanálise do risco geológico-geotécnico de escorregamentos em Belo Horizonte - Minas Gerais

Resumo: Based on the relevant characteristics of the city of Belo Horizonte (eg clime, relief, geology, geomorphology) and on the evaluation of the inspection´s sheet currently employed by the Programa Estrutural em Áreas de Risco PEAR, we conduct a detailed analysis of the current method of classification of the high and very high geological-geotechnic risk in this study. One can conclude that this rating could be inadequate or not totally reliable, as it is subjectively conducted, without well-defined parameters, being then dependent on the inspector´s experience. Thereby a new geological-geotechnic risk classification methodology was created for this city through analysis of the following pre-defined parameters: potential factors of risk, relation slope height/separation from the slope to the edification, indicative of movement and vulnerability of the edification. Beyond these parameters, attenuating and worsening factors were identified, which represent the reality of the city of Belo Horizonte. Crossing those parameters, the risk levels were defined, and in order to make their use easier,values were assigned to each parameter.The new suggested metodology will contribute to the PEAR, as it offers more standardization to the data, as they will not be so subjective anymore.
