Resumo: | The subject of this research are the practices of the learning of soccer. Highly spreader/popular in Brazil (mainly as a male practice), soccer is a sport where it is noticed little education, even when its learning takes place inside of the school. In order to describe/analyze the learning of soccer were used the learning approach situated in communities of practice (LAVE and WENGER, 1991) and the theory of School System, (VINCENT, LAHIRE, THIN, 2001) theories that were used in this work as a complementary opposition type. The study broaches the learning as an inherent aspect of the whole social practice (LAVE and WENGER, 1991). Compiled from an ethnographic incursion in the universe of the daily soccer practices among young people from a district of Belo Horizonte, the research gave visibility to important aspects of the learning process. Revealed that in soccer, the situated way of learning (i.e., in relations among peers and in the sharing practices) it is hegemonic, even in contexts of occurrence of teaching practices guided by the School System. The learning of soccer is diffuse in the different ways of participation in the social practice and it involves more than techniques, tactics and rules. In the daily soccer practices the young athletes learn soccer and in it establish identities, meanings, bodily arrangements, types of attention, emotions and knowledge. As part of the networks of young peoples sociability, the young athletes incorporated the match which is constituted of complex social relations, of different ways of participation, of power relations, etc. It is not, however, a passive process of assimilation, in which the body is being shaped. Unlike, in a subtle and tense relation, the soccer culture shapes the body of the practitioners at the same time that is shaped by it. |
