Resumo: | In this work, structural fluid simulations were performed in one and two ways, in high fidelity geometric models with the aortic vessel. The two-way simulation is characterized by a temporal response of the arterial flow with the structure, which was performed in a geometric model of a layer, in which the regions of great concentration of efforts were mapped as well as the range of the cyclic forces in which the aorta is submitted, being analyzed two cases: healthy aorta and aorta with abdominal aneurysm. The one-way simulation was performed in the geometric model of the aorta with two layers: medium and adventitious; in which a comparative framework of structural efforts and behavior were developed to find which of the layers is more prone to rupture and its behavior on those conditions, being one of the reasons that lead to the gradual increase of the aneurysm over time, which is the protein denaturation of the layers due to increased cyclic stresses. These results enable the viability of new biocompatible prostheses and, in the future, the development of new drugs. |
