Resumo: | Reproducitve, metabolic, hormonal and productive parameters were evaluated in crossbred F1 Holstein x Zebu dairy cows fed (T1 control; T2 subjected do blood collection and daily ulstrasonography) or not (T3 subjected to blood collection and daily ultrasonography) concentrate during the transition period in the rainy season when were raised at pasture and in the dry season when were supplemented wuth corn silage. The concentrate supplementation incresead the body condition score at calving during the rainy season. Also, during the rainy season the cholesterol and glucose concentrations were lower and the urea and non esterified fatyy acids concentrations were higher in the concentrate supplemented cows. During the dry season the cholesterol concentrations were lower and the urea and leptin concentrations were higher in the supplemented cows. The uterine involution occurred at 25.19 days postpartum. The first ovulation occurred at 51.57±23.30 days during the rainy season and at 44.56±17.69 days in the dry season. It was observed 5.30±2.88 follicular waves until the first ovulation during the rainy season ans 4.33±2.11 waves during the dry season. 19.61% of the cows remained in anestrous unitl 90 days postpartum. In the rainy season the service period was 102.52±65.66 days and 90.51±59.73 days in the dry season |
