Resumo: Diseases transmitted by arthropod vectors such as dengue, malaria, yellow fever leishmaniasis, among others, have high rates of cases throughout Brazil, especially in less economically in less economically developed and environmentally fragile areas. Among these, are the municipalities that are located in the Amazon Rainforest areas in the state of Maranhão, the so-called Maranhão Amazon. The objective of this research is to analyze the socio-environmental vulnerability associated occurrence of diseases transmitted by arthropod vectors in the municipality of Anajatuba- MA.
