This dissertation addresses the Theorem of Thales and its consequences. It includes a brief history of Thales of Miletus and the main axioms of Euclidean geometry that support the Theorem of Thales. It also covers a basic notion of lines, which is essential for understanding the Theorem of Thales. In addition to demonstrating the Theorem of Thales, the main topic of this dissertation, I also provide proofs of other theorems using the Theorem of Thales. I conclude the paper with applications of the theorem to various problems and a brief introduction to analytic geometry.
