We present calculations made by Archimedes of Syracuse, which resulted in the Method of Mechanics Theorems, an ancient work of Archimedes, founded by historians in 1906. We proof some statements using the Theory of Proportions and the Method of Exhaustion of Eudoxus, that was improved by Archimedes. Among the principal results, we mention the quadrature of the lune, quadrature of the parabola, approximation of circle area, and calculation of sphere volume.
