Resumo: This research aims to analyze the aesthetics of the scene in performances by Black women within the framework of Performative Black Theater. In this context, in addition to revisiting contemporary Black scenes that address memory and activism led by women, the project seeks to foster the mapping of these narratives and demonstrate how the aesthetics of Blackness are aesthetically articulated in the anti-racist struggle within the theatrical field. The research highlights Black theatricalities through concepts such as “corpo-tela” (body-screen), developed by Leda Martins, and will analyze Vozes-tambores by Carla Amorim. It is also relevant to mention the event “Corpas – Encontro de performances de mulheres negras”, conceived by Daniele Anatólio, Simone Rico, and Mariana Maia. This event took place in July 2018 in various cities throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro, promoting the production and discussion of performances by Black women in Brazil.
