Resumo: This study demonstrates the use of GIS by a FHS team, located in the most normal clusters of St. Louis, the neighborhood of Coroadinho, in order to describe and analyze the team's action of the territory through the crossing of data generated by the Form A and SSA2 (ANEXO B) together with some georeferencing tooks in the public domain. The Family Health Strategy (ESF) was established in 1994 to reorient to health care model in Brazil. Among its basic tasks the definition of its enrolled population, with an area of specification and micro catchment area. These should be described by the construction of a map of the health situation, so you can know your territory. This objective to know the territory, correlate with the environment and the community attended the ESF uses the Basic Care Information System (SIAB). However due to the limitations of this system we seek to find more resolving procedures and practices to develop this assignment. Thus we sought in Health Geography universe these tools that could assist in this process. The choice of location is due to convenience of the researcher. This study is structured into 5 chapters describing the approaches to the historical relationship between health and environment, ESF, use of GIS by the ESF and the results achieved. The study area was the inference enrolled area of operation of the Family Healthy Strategy 017, located in the village of Friars, which in turn belongs to Coroadinho the neighborhood and it belongs Coroadinho belonging to the Sanitary District. The methodology used was the application of a descriptive and ecological study, with the use of public data base belonging to the SIAB, the cohort from 2013 and 2014. According to what was covered observed that the use of GIS in the analysis the territory ascribed by the ESF in Coroadionho Barrio enabled the construction of a more urban and environmental loook of the place. To this end was presented the mapping of the area, the differentiation of micro areas, the profile of the registred population, the profile of the registered population, the profile of sanitation and its variants. Eas made satellite monitoring of some points of the area. There was the vulnerability of children under 06 years and older living in endemic areas of leprosy. It was also possible to observe the low public collection coverage of garbage and sewage supply, the micro area where there is greater risk slip. Finally promoted the understanding of GIS and how it can help dynamically the look of urban space in the ESF.
