Resumo: The main objective of this dissertation is to explore and insert the use of Logic Boolean in Basic Education Mathematics classes and its contribution to development of logical reasoning and problem-solving skills in students in this range age. To this end, it brings a theoretical approach to the subject and the implementation of a set of simply formulated tasks to help students develop communication skills critical thinking, problem solving and logical reasoning. It was initially presented a brief history of the emergence of mathematical Boolean algebra, then we discussed mathematical sentential logic exploring important definitions such as arguments, propositions, the basic principles of logic, construction of truth tables, connectives logic, logical equivalences, logical diagrams and argument validations. Right away Mathematical Boolean Logic was presented, its properties, identities, theorems and logical expressions. We conclude our study by presenting applications aimed at for Basic Secondary and Elementary Education.
