Resumo: |
The repercussions of the Covid-19 Pandemic with the measures of isolation and social distance, resulted in an urgent need for remote work with Information and Comunication Thecnologies (ICTs), including online psychological care. Psychologists were able to use this modality of assistance autonomously since Resolution nº11/2018 (CFP, 2018). The provision of psychological online services has enabled greater access to mental health care and has been showing its relevance as well as the effectiveness in the results. Based on this premise, this research has as general objective to analyze the professional practice of the clinical psychologist who works with online psychological care, highlighting the challenges and ethical issues related to this modality. Specifically, the research aims to know aspects about professional experience and practice, related ethical issues, benefits, challenges and effectiveness, as well as the impact of using this modality on the health of professionals. The research presents a descriptive-exploratory design, with a quanti-qualitative approach and participated clinical psychologists who work or have worked in the last two years with online psychotherapy. The data collection was done with a Questionnaire Sociodemographic and Professional Practice and an Interview Guide half structured. The collected data were submitted to a lexical statistical analysis with the IRaMuTeQ program, followed by qualitative analyses of the results of the text segments of the interview, which were examined by the researcher through the hermeneutic-dialectic approach. The results made it possible to describe and understand the clinical psychologist’s practice with the use of ICTs in national reality, recognize its specificities and limitations, outlining alternatives and compelling a greater professional ethical engagement. As well as recognizing its advantages and effectiveness, contributing to its consolidation of the scientific scenario and consequently to the prevention and health promotion of the population in general. |
