Resumo: This research aims to explain the virtualization process through and with the artistic practice of reinventing some blocks of images from the movie Hitler IIIº Mundo, taking into account its context of military dictatorship and dialoguing with bibliographical works, in order to present an instrument of reflection and update. For this, it first seeks to relate the process of social repression in the Brazilian historical context of the military dictatorship with the resistance movement of marginal cinema in the 70s, then explores the aesthetic conception of the film Hitler III º Mundo and finally examines the power of virtualization of the Reinventions of Cursed Images. In order to explore the virtualization process of this film, we looked for key concepts such as Lévy's concept of virtualization (1996); Nietzsche's beautiful Dionysian (1992); concept of cruelty in the cinema of Artaud (2006) and Deleuze (2018). For this, this research has an exploratory, descriptive and creative character, with a post-structuralist, interdisciplinary theoretical model and a qualitative approach, using bibliographical, documentary and artistic research. Dialoguing with the cartographic method, the artistic method thought by Borgdorff (2012) is used in which, in addition to research being about and in art, its creative process is the way to reach the research result. In addition to the film RIM, we have as a result the construction of a "nomadic war machine", which is the dissertation itself.
