Resumo: During the teaching process, the teacher always encounters many difficulties in his journey, either because the content of Physics is very complex and difficult to assimilate, or because students are already highly motivated and they already come with an idea that Physics is a material that is not very attractive, abstract and that is passed on through formulas. In view of this problem, the present work aims to show that Physics has many applications, both for technology or in natural phenomena and, thus, making classes more attractive and dynamic, in addition, it will also show that Physics is intertwined in different areas of science. In this sense, the focus of this work is the subject of Diffraction, a physical event with undulating characteristics, a subject that, many times, is not worked on in high schools and, when it is seen, it is very summarized. Hence the importance of applying this research. The pedagogical tool used to facilitate the development of this content was through software, which reproduces several simulations of wave phenomena. The theoretical framework used to assist the development of this research is Jerome Brunner, about his conceptions of the cognitive theory, in which teaching takes place in an active and not passive way, the student has great participation in this process. The application of this educational product was developed at the public school CEM ANNEX SÃO CRISTÓVÃO III / SÃO BERNARDO, with 2nd year students. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the application of this research was done all remotely, following the rules of social distance established by the World Health Organization. The purpose of this software is to make Physics classes more attractive, in order to arouse more interest in the student in this matter.
