Abstract Electric energy distribution companies have been reinventing themselves in search of better results in order to become attractive to investors. Therefore, failures in the electrical power system, when frequent, become a threat to the availability of equipment. To reduce failures, it is necessary to increase the number of maintenance. However, the resources to carry out these maintenances are limited and need to be well applied. A constant problem in some energy distributors, located in the coastal zone, is salt pollution. In the dry period, this pollution tends to accumulate in the body of the insulators, causing a path to be formed between the energized and the non-energized part, that is, the insulator ends up losing its main function, which is to isolate these two parts. This causes an inconvenience for the concessionaire, because it causes several failures that result in fines, which can be applied by the National System Operator (ONS) and the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL). It also harms society, because it compromises the supply of energy, causes stoppages in factories, production, in short, a significant impact on the environment. One of the techniques used to avoid this type of problem is washing the insu lators with demineralized water. Demineralized water is devoid of mineral salts, thus, the water does not become conductive, as the lines and substations are washed and energized, in order not to interrupt the energy supply. This property of water is what guarantees the safety of the electrician who is performing the function. Generally, this process is planned and controlled by the executing teams, th rough tables and spreadsheets. There is no productivity study; efficiency; scripting; peri odicity, for washing each insulator, and it is not even known which structure is needed to carry out this activity. To solve this problem, it is necessary to create a more effective management system, in addition to a methodology capable of analyzing times, and defining the neces sary structure for washing. In this dissertation proposal on energy and environment, it is intended to develop a solution that allows to manage, plan and act on the problem of washing, in order to mitigate the impacts that can be caused by failures of this nature. |
