Resumo: |
In this paper it is analysed the chain of the natural gas in Maranhão focusing the diagnosis of its three segments, that’s to say upstream/midstream/downstream, its offer and demand, in the world, in Brasil and in Maranhão. It is done a detailed analysis, but not exhaustive and without the aim of elaborating a predicted sampler, of the possibilities and alternatives of gas increase in the state energetic mould, being adopted a conservative estimation of offer and demand for the local market. It is shown possibilities of distribution of natural gas for dedicated gas pipeline, a state chain of gas pipelines and even so the inversion of “well to station” flow in cases where the construction of gas pipeline be unviable, pointing out to heterodox solution where “nomadic” companies bee guide to the wheel to well. The used methodology based itself on a qualitative and documental inquire, under technical information query, beyond informal interviews in order to collect expert’s, academical people’s and sector leader’s opinion, like CEO from gas productor company, economists, entrepeneurs and sector engineers as well as gas clients. The environment matter is transversally treated in every study steps, because it deals with a fossil from energetic source, however clean, flexible and efficient, inserted in the market like low carbon economy and energetic solution of low footprint and, therefore, agreeing under the great planetary expectations of sustainability. In the study conclusions it is registered propositions of increase of the natural gas chain whidr comprises all its three segments as every chain industry must be treated. It is shouwn that the local gas production is guided almost exclusively to the complemental termoelectrical generation, a restrictive sign to the increase of the demand in the local market. It is glimpsed like corollary socioeconomical profits of richness generation, work and profit in the municipalities of low HDI which are in those areas of oil and gas ventures. |
