Resumo: |
Fungi are unicellular or multicellular organisms with eukaryotic cells, that is, with a nucleus surrounded by a membrane. These organisms are heterotrophic and lack plastids or photosynthetic pigments. Depending on the type of pores produced during their life cycle, fungi can be classified as: Mastomycetes, Yeasts, Zygomycota, Basidiomycota and Ascomycota. The term "secondary metabolism" was introduced by Bu ‘Lock in 1960 to designate microbial metabolites that are not essential for cellular metabolism and are found in a limited rate number as products of cellular differentiation. The objective of this work is to evaluate the antitumor, antibacterial and antifungal activity of the secondary metabolite of endophytic fungi isolated from Euterpe oleracea Mart. (Açaí). The endophytic fungus Aspergillus Niger was selected, whose isolated secondary metabolite showed a positive result when tested in cervical cancer cell lines SIHA HPV16, and the results obtained with the aqueous fractions and ethyl acetate of Aspergillus Niger, after carrying out the tests using the disk technique, demonstrated that there was inhibition of the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Salmonella sp. |
